The man who's been on death row for 21 years has agreed to come on the programme tomorrow (Tues). Kenny Richey was born in the Netherlands but grew up in Edinburgh. He was found guilty of murdering a young girl in an arson attack in the States when he was 22 years of age. He has been close to execution a number of times.
His conviction was overturned last year - and he finally arrived back home a few days ago. Whatever it is that you would like to ask Mr Richey, please post it here...

How has your opinion changed on rehabilitation of criminals at all, would you agree that some people can never be rehabiliated?

What are you going to do with your life now it has been given back to you?
It must have been very frustrating to wait so long for freedom even after your conviction was overturned. Do you think the prosecution were sore losers? Or was this the fault of the system?
Kenny.....congratulations on your freedom......I would like to ask you this?
I've heard that you came within an hour of execution. Very few people are lucky enough (if that is the right word?) to know the exact time and place of their own death....how did you prepare yourself emotionally in the days and hours before the sentence was due to be carried out.

if this guy really is innocent then it is terrific he is free BUT this must be the worst guest ever on radio. you have every right to be angry Mr Richeybut based on the personality thatcomes across in this interview a lethal injection would have done us all a favour. Victoria, that was hard work!
Victoria, could I just say that your intrview with kenny was not the best or most sensative I have ever heard. This man ,has spent 21 years in a foreign country and on death row, and while I see its news to ask what was it like ,what did you do ,how did you live, To a degree it must be recognised that kenny may not really want to be reminded or wish to discuss parts of that time spent in the us. To be honest some of the questions ie/ the ones about his friend who was executed,none of us know him , or are aware of his crime. what relevence is he to kennys case or life ahead. However I do appreciate that kenny was a difficult interview.
Dear Victoria, I thought you handled well the clearly difficult interview with Kenny Richey. I'm sure everyone listening could sense the societal dislocation Mr Richey is experiencing, as well as his deep anger - which is completely understandable. The interview, despite its fraughtness, will remain unforgettable, and reflects the damage done by such incarcerations.
Have to agree with Alan, the tension of the interview was quite clear. Obviously the notion of coming so close to death is fascinating to some, but think about it from his perspective. I ceratinly wouldn't want to dwell on any thoughts I had sitting on death row.
