Don't expect many 'affordable homes' in Wrexham for the next couple of years, says the council leader. Meanwhile, the situation does look a lot brighter in Denbighshire.

Wrexham Council leader Cllr Aled Roberts tells the newspaper the council will not be able to help provide more than a handful of affordable homes in Wrexham in the next two years because of "scandalously low" levels of funding from the Assembly. The announcement comes amid concern that a planned development at Erddig will price locals out of the market.
