Website contributor Jonathan Gammond, the interpretation officer for , has just shared extracts from his latest exhibition, Mentioned in dispatches, which uses letters sent home by soldiers, sailors and airmen fighting on the frontlines in wars throughout the 19th and 20th centuries.

As part of the exhibition - which runs until September 6 - Jonathan is also encouraging people to add memories or family stories regarding servicemen and women who served in more recent conflicts such as The Falklands War and .
