Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 1's Big Weekend
Unsigned band Gallops are all set to play their biggest gig to date at Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 1's Big Weekend next month. Meanwhile, fellow Wrexham band, Camera, launch their new EP.

Family nicknames
Colin writes: "...a young man introduced himself as Jack Wooden Leg, when he clearly enjoyed two good legs. The name had been passed down for generations after his grandfather had a leg amputated following a pit accident."

Town Talk
Denbigh hospital conversion plan - Margaret: "Please don't turn it into an area of little boxes full of posh outsiders who couldn't care a fig what was there before they arrived."
Wrexham town centre - Sue: "I've had a few friends visit over Easter and I don't take them into Wrexham any more - we've been to Chester and Llangollen. Wrexham town centre, once a pleasant place to stroll and shop on a sunny day, is so empty it's embarrassing to show visitors!"
Rhyl memories - Mags: "I worked on the camps hiring out the social cycles and every night the boss would take us to Rhyl to get the ones that had been dumped and we had to ride them back to Towyn very often with another one hooked up on the back."

The weirdest?
There have been a number of spooky sightings at Llangollen's Valle Crucis Abbey.
Ghost sightings map
We've been mapping your stories of local ghosts and paranormal activity.

- Satellite technology is introduced on school buses to let parents and schools keep track of children and improve behaviour in Flintshire and Denbighshire.
- A mother and her four children are rescued from a fire at their Deeside home, which is thought to have been started deliberately.
