We're due to move to a new look site in late June which will be similar to our sister site, .

The content production system [CPS] we'll be moving into is that used by Ö÷²¥´óÐã News. Therefore, what you'll get will be a fresh , including things like bigger and better use of .

There are a lot more additions and improvements being planned. Our move to the new CPS will only be the first phase so, as they say, watch this space - and to Chappy, and others, please be patient.

Alys and myself spent two days training on the new system in late May and we started migrating content to the new site on 1 June prior to site testing and then launching the new-look.

We've temporarily stopped adding content to the existing site such as events and any comments which relate to sections which we will not be continuing in the new system. Where sections are affected you'll see the following note:

And when we move over to the new system proper there will be other changes too. We'll no longer be promoting 'all' community events you send us. Instead, we'll be providing links to local listings providers whilst providing a weekly round-up of events to give you more of a flavour of what's in store.

This will free us up to produce more content that you want to see - stories that reflect and celebrate our community.

There'll be plenty more to tell you about soon.

We'll keep you updated.
