Spotlight: Caia Park Environment Group

Caia Park Environmental GroupThe are finalists in an environmental award to win £10,000 to help further their work.

Their projects include adopting more than one mile of the River Gwenfro - which runs through the estate - to keep it litter free and in good shape and they run a community allotment as well as working with the Wrexham estate's school children on environmental schemes such as tree planting and litter picks.

Plus, they run a free bike scheme, taking in unwanted bikes, cleaning them up, ensuring they are safe before giving them out to the community.
