Tuesday's programme

David Mazower | 12:47 UK time, Tuesday, 2 May 2006

We're going for two very different topics today - the Iran nuclear debate, and warnings of racism in Germany ahead of the World Cup.

At least we were until a minute ago. Now I've just been told that the Iranian Ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency has pulled out of today's show. He was going to be joining us live to take your questions - a rare opportunity to quiz a senior Iranian official about their nuclear policy. We'll see if the Iranian Ambassador in London can step in at short notice as his replacement. Ah, the joys of live radio!

We'll definitely be looking at the debate underway in Germany about whether black and African fans will be safe travelling around the country to watch the football World Cup. Local officials and the government say they will be but grassroots groups are warning fans about no-go areas and recent attacks.

Five hours to go....I better go and see what's happening with the Iranians....watch this space!
