You don't normally get real bona fide thunderstorms in London, but last night was a bit special. At least I thought so. And so today I'm in bright and early to demand some more ideas from you. Any flashes of inspiration? Send them our way.

I just wanted to know whether Israel officially recognises the existence of Palestine. We're hearing a lot about Hamas not recognising the existence of Israel, but I don't really know what that means. So the answer to this question might help to put it into a context I can understand.
At a meeting of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund in Singapore, the UK isit had that the Bank is forcing too many conditions on aid given to poorer countries. Is this enough?
And as violence continues in Afghanistan, the NATO demand for more troops has been partially met by Poland, who said they will send 1000 troops early next year. But its still not enough. What has happened to all those pledges of support from NATO members 5 years ago? Is is the alliance disintegrating? What about the fate of Afghanistan? Any thoughts?
