David Mazower | 16:18 UK time, Wednesday, 1 November 2006

Have you ever wondered what life is like in North Korea? Although we hear a lot about the country's leader, Kim Jong-Il, and his , we don't hear so much about life in one of the world's most secretive countries. Now's your chance find out everything you wanted to know, and put your questions to journalist Peter Simpson, who's just returned from spending almost a week there.

He's the first British journalist to go to North Korea since its nuclear test early last month. In a in today's Daily Telegraph, he describes his experiences:

"Driving the streets of Pyongyang is like time travel. The communist outfits and large flat caps together with regiments of smiling, teenage girls dressed in green military uniforms practising synchronised goose-stepping on parade grounds are a perfect snapshot of 1960s China."

Peter has agreed to come on the show tomorrow to answer your questions about life in North Korea - so what do you want to know? Send us your questions - you can add them to our , or post them to the blog. We'll be speaking to Peter at 1200GMT on Thursday, so if you'd like to ask your question in person, then make sure you leave your phone number.
