We are now off air but you can read all of tonight's comments below.

As , today we were talking about if it should be allowed for a sister and a brother to have a relationship. We were also talking about Indonesia. Post your comment now.

You can read emails and text messages here, and of course post your own comments as well.

Ken in Cleveland writes:

If you don't believe in incestuous marriage, you probably shouldn't marry a family member. Just like gay marriage in many countries, the laws that prohibit the relationship of Patrick and Susan is coming from superstition and religeous meddling. Should it be a crime? I say "No"... Although if you met my sister, you might think otherwise...

Jacques in Boston, US writes:

brother and sister having sex and children, and that should be legal?
What is next? parents having sex with their children and have other children?
Are we turning into dogs now? This is sick beyond belief

John in US writes:

I do not feel it should be illegal regardless of whether they knew or did not know they were related. Social pressures and morality have caused people to marry the same race for centuries. People who are related will cross paths over and over again. True love is not ruled by genetics. Besides whose business is it anyway if they are related. Courts should stay out of the family that work okay.

Kalypso in Austria writes:

I think the brother and sister who have a relationship and even have four children, should be treated as criminals. It is incest and that is a crime. They should be punished and stigmatized and society. It's just absolutely disgusting!!!

Leland from Bloomington, Indiana, US writes:

Incest should be banned, but possibly not enforced with prison time.
Perhaps psychological counseling and biology courses should be more important. The argument that "it should not be a crime because a child is the product" suggests that sex with a minor should also be legal if the minor is consenting.

Brad in Washington DC, US writes:

I believe two adults should be able to fall in love. Provided they are both consensual, what is the harm?

Faithilyn in Jamaica writes:

I just could believe what I was hearing on Ö÷²¥´óÐã World News. Those persons are sick in their minds. It is morally wrong and I don't think they should even consider it in the first place.

S in India writes:

The sexual relationship between a brother and sister is highly despicable. The incestuous relationship of parents becomes a painful legacy to the progeny who will be forced to carry the ignominy till their posterity.

Ekene in Nigeria writes:

Shame shame all the way, do they have sex with their mothers as well.

Toni in Kampala writes:

Ugandan soldiers are battle hardened and that gun battle on arrival was a little knock to remind them that they didn't go for a honeymoon in Somali

Bjay writes:

What turns you on is a 'taboo' the ' after-math is not.

Olowoyo writes:

Somalia was part of Etiopia let the two merge

Frank in Sierra Leone writes:

Brother and sister relations should be shunned because its immoral and un-religious and shouldn't be encourage in any part of the world

Segun from Post Harcourt, Nigeria writes:

FEAR NOT 4 NUCLEAR OR BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS BUT D WRATH OF GOD. THIS IS SODOMY. IT HAS 2 B STOPPED!

Delber in Pakistan writes:

Relationship like this Not acceptable by any corner morally socially, religiously, not only disgusting but also a big blow to this sacred tie.

Steven Nwakama from Monrovia writes:

Its totally wrong for a brother and sister the have sexual intercourse, so i think the boy deserved the two year sentence.

Karo Umukoro in Nigeria writes:

The world has become godless, hearing about the ungodly act between a brother and his sister is not shocking news.

Mohamed Bindi Fofanah in Sierra Leone writes:

They should not be allowed to carry on with such indensent relationship.

Anon writes:

There has been no peace in northern Uganda for years. The judiciary is not protected yet you say you want to keep peace in somalia.

Giselle in The Netherlands writes:

It should not be illegal for a brother and sister to be in a romantic relationship but it must be a consensual relationship.

David writes:

While crashing of planes are becoming a daily affair around the world I would like to know what the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) of UN is doing in this issue to impose safety standards in civil aviation.

Leland in Indiana, USA writes:

If there was no war, there would be no need for peace keepers.

Muhammed from Pakistan:

In my opinion they did not commit any crime therefore it's the duty of German government to live then in peace. But as far as genetic problem is concerned their children will at risk from genetic abnormalities therefore they should produce any children.

Giselle from The Netherlands writes:

It should not be illegal for a brother and sister to be in a romantic relationship but it must be a consensual relationship. The law should be altered to ban inter-generational incest only.

Cisman writes:

Uganda troops will not be welcome to Somalia, stay off Somalia it's a war zone, you will be confronted and treated as invaders, we don't want your fight leave us alone. Today's attack is the beginning of long fight to come.

JoAnn in Woodland, WA, US writes:

It does not matter how old they were when they met. Patrick was the adult in the situation and should have discouraged this type of relationship. The minute you allow "consenting adults" to indulge in these types of relationships it gives an opening to familial pedophiles to rationalize their abuse of younger siblings and their own children. These type of abusers love to justify their actions by saying that they "love" the children and that the feelings are returned.

Biodunbun in Nigeria writes:

Both of them should leave each other and the children should be taken to foster parents to bring up. This act contravenes God's Law. Though they were ignorant, it's no excuse to remain together.

Jeremiah in India writes:

The Somalians had more than fifteen years to make peace among themselves and now they claim that no one should interfere in the politics of their country. For one there is no country to speak of and two the politics they are talking about is one of hatred and strife. But as to me, if the people of Somalia really prefer their old ways of war and banditry (or even to be ruled by mullahs ruling by archaic laws) I say, AU please let them have it. But please don't allow them to spill their problems to neighboring countries.

Duke in US:

What next, a man sleeping with a man a woman sleeping with a woman fathers and daughters mothers and sons. Now brothers and sisters. Nothing to be surprised about. I am sure animals and humans will be next topic. That's the world we live in. No morals anymore leave them alone.

Mukul in Dayton, US writes:

Animals in jungle don't have concept of brothers and sisters. If anyone wants to turn the clock of wisdom back and want to go animal ways then please move out of Human society and go live with animals in jungle. Don't corrupt the society.

Rick in Detroit writes:

How would you identify siblings that are a result of sperm bank? Is that illegal? Adopted children don't have the sibling relationship. Knowledge and judgment are interrelated to prevent sibling matings.

Jane writes:

I can't believe your current caller from the States equating incest with polygamy! I really don't see any reason why 2 consenting adults can't have a sexual relationship even though they are related as long as they don't produce any children as a result from their union. Personally, I think it's an icky idea to have sex with either of my brothers, but then I know what goobers they are.

Ibrahim in Libya writes:

It will be very hard to keep peace in somalia as long as Somalians are not ready for it. The Somalians should know the union of the islamic courts is not the answer to there problem.

Susan Doran in Florence, Italy writes:

Yes, but when the children are old enough to understand where their family roots.

Ahmed in Kano, Nigeria writes:

The western papers love blowing disasters in developing nations rather than their government's actions that is making the whole world unsafe!
