| 10:32 UK time, Wednesday, 20 June 2007

Our colleague Alan Johnston has been held hostage for 100 days. Today we will be hearing messages of support from Ö÷²¥´óÐã journalists, including Jeremy Paxman, Lyse Doucet, Huw Edwards, and a host of people who work behind the scenes.

You can still , or send your own messages to .

What else would you like to hear on the programme today?

African Tiger
The President of Ghana John Kufuor has said the will turn Ghana into the African tiger. 600m barrels of oil have been found - a major boost to the economy. But will Ghanaians see the benefit of the find? What does it mean for the country, and how would the money be best spent? We'll be hearing from people in the region on the show today, but if you're there, or have any thoughts on the find, let us know here. Read Paul's blog post on this here.

Veil row
The coalition in India's ruling coalition party has caused a major furore by suggesting that it's. Pratabha Patil, a 72 year old moderate Hindu, had pretty much escaped criticism until her comments, but now she's been accused of insulting Islam, many are calling for a new candidate to be found. We had a huge response to similar stories in the UK, shall we discuss this today?

The Vatican have put together a 36 page document to help curb road rage. "Thou shalt not make rude gestures behind the steering wheel" is one of the guidelines I've broken many times. , let us know what you think of them, and which ones you break when you get behind the wheel.

This one from Rabiya....

over a decision to reinstate a boy excluded for writing death threats on the internet about a female teacher. The head teacher of the Gleed Boys School in Spalding initially expelled the pupil after abusive comments were posted on a website. That was reversed by governors. Teaching unions have described the boy's behaviour as unacceptable.

Should he be re-instated? Are the teachers right to strike..? Can teachers control what's written about them..? Should they even care..?
