So, Britain's waking up with a . Gordon Brown took over from Tony Blair as the Prime Minister yesterday. One of the first things Mr Brown has to do is reshuffle his cabinet and that could have implications for Britain's foreign policy...

...David Miliband has been appointed Foreign Secretary - an interesting choice because privately Mr Miliband is said to have seen intervention in Iraq as "a great error"....

...While Mr Brown settles into life at No.10 Downing Street, Tony Blair - as expected - took . We did quite a bit on this on Tuesday, but is there the appetite for further discussion today? Do let us know.

Meantime, a new global study suggests worldwide opinion of major powers, and their leaders, is becoming increasingly wary. . According to the research there is global support for a withdrawal of US troops in Iraq as well as "considerable" opposition to US & Nato troops in Afghanistan. The survey spoke to 45,000 people in 46 countries as well as the Palestinian territories. So do you agree with the findings? Has the study actually revealed anything we don't already know? Does this represent a fair global picture and should we be talking about it today? Your thoughts please.
