The British governmentÌýis to high earners. But will the move bring out the Ìýor leave them at a loss?

that cutting universal child benefit might be a price worth paying:

'This is idiotic policy which is vastly unfair...This benefit has to be tested on a per family basis and not an individual one to make it fair. I work and my wife stays at home to look after our 3 children. I earn over the £44,000 limit but nowhere near the circa £88,000 that two working parents could earn without losing it.'
And Jackie in London writes'
'What is fair about working really hard for your money, grafting at work, university and making an effort to have the 'better life' that George Osborne suggests, when the government does very little to applaud or support it. I feel like my generation is being slammed.'
