The people I hear

I'm always trying to think of new ways that we can make connections with people, and new ways that we can help share your stories around the world. Clearly, our weekly TV edition and Chloe's new radio edition are going to help. We're also very close to a much better place on which is brilliant. And from this week I'm going to try something else...

When I was reporting from the Ö÷²¥´óÐã's US08 election bus, one of my duties was to write-up one or two of the conversations I'd had and it was then shared with Ö÷²¥´óÐã sites and partner stations. It was of my favourite things to do each day.

I've been thinking for a while that I'd like to something similar about WHYS, and so I've begun. I'm calling it 'The People I Hear' and I'm aiming to write one a week. It'll be available to any sites or newspapers that would like to run it (though I'm not making any assumptions that they will). If you think your local paper might be interested, let me know and we'll see if we can work it out.

I'm going to post the first three that I've written in a moment and then they'll be a new one every Friday morning.

As ever, your thoughts are very welcome.
