Ah, the children of the night
I can鈥檛 believe it - it鈥檚 still sunny in Manchester! Obviously, to counteract such a glorious predicament my body has decided I need a cold. Nothing goes better with an ice cream than snot. However, it鈥檚 my birthday on Monday so I expect I鈥檒l get a few diamonds to make me feel better 鈥 for reference, all shopping vouchers will be burnt upon opening.
It鈥檚 been an interesting couple of days at the 主播大秀. I was able to watch some sort of bomb-scare from my window yesterday, so that lightened the mood. This is Manchester, so it couldn鈥檛 have been an Easter bonnet parade. My script鈥檚 coming along, although yet again I face the daunting prospect of feedback from a real 主播大秀 Producer! It鈥檚 great to hear what other people think of my work, as long as they use phrases like 鈥渉ilarious鈥, 鈥渟o funny I wee鈥檇鈥 and 鈥淣orwich genius鈥濃
This week I鈥檝e been watching a lot of 鈥楴ighty Night鈥 and 鈥楶eep Show鈥 so I鈥檓 trying to get back to my filthy roots. I often think I鈥檇 be better suited to late night Channel 5, but the 主播大秀 asked first. I鈥檓 like a vampire 鈥 once you invite me in, I just don鈥檛 leave.
I should be heading home to Norwich for Easter, which is exciting. I haven鈥檛 been back since before Christmas, and I hear we鈥檝e got an indoor toilet now so I can鈥檛 wait. I shall be entertaining myself on the journey home with the latest instalment of 鈥楲ove It!鈥 magazine 鈥 a must-have for any up-and-coming media types. I never get bored of real life stories about stripping dwarves. (If anyone from 鈥楲ove It!鈥 is reading, I鈥檓 sure you now owe me a free subscription鈥)
It鈥檚 my Dad鈥檚 birthday next week too, so Happy Birthday El Scorpio! (He鈥檚 a wrestler.) And just in case any of my family were thinking of buying me a nice 鈥榳riter鈥檚鈥 pen for my birthday, I鈥檇 rather just have the cash x x x
