A viewer complained Nick Robinson created a hostile atmosphere in this interview with Nigel Farage as leader of Reform UK, preventing him from answering the questions put to him by constant interruption. The ECU considered the broadcast against the standards for due impartiality set out in the 主播大秀 Editorial Guidelines

This interview was one of a series intended to shine a light on the policies of all the major parties ahead of the General Election. 聽Viewers would expect such interviews to include vigorous and robust scrutiny of the politicians questioned. 聽In the ECU鈥檚 view Mr Farage was given ample time to speak and respond when challenged on issues such as foreign policy, immigration and allegations of racism within his party. 聽While Mr Robinson often put opposing or challenging perspectives to the Reform UK leader, it was clear he was not expressing his own views but rather playing devil鈥檚 advocate.聽
