Penny Walker was one of the founding members of the Coventry Peace House, a housing co-operative and peace and environmental centre on the Stoney Stanton Road.

She set up the property in 1999 with two other protestors from the year-long peace camp at the Alvis tank factory on the Walsgrave Triangle in Coventry.
The property houses two peace projects (Worldwise and the Peace Visionary Project) and provides co-operative living space, a cycling workshop and a community area for local people to use.

Renovating the property has been a struggle and, as this video shows, much of the work has been ruined by recent floods. Despite this, Penny loves where she lives and encourages others to join the co-op. Watch the video to see if you could be the extra house-mate they鈥檙e looking for.
