I'm a bit confused about who owns what around Ambridge. There is no longer a long established big landowner. Much of the land (including Tony and Pat's farm) is owned by a consortium of businessmen including Matt Crawford and Brian Aldridge. Does this include Brian's farm or is that separate? Grange Farm is owned by Oliver, I think and Brookefield is owned by David or is it still Phil on paper?

Brian's farm is separate. He bought it from the estate in the 1970s
Grange Farm was part of the Estate in the Grundy days, but sold of by Borchester Land to Oliver with part of the land held back for the development of Grange Spinney
The ownership of Brookfield farm Ltd (or whatever it is called) is still a bit cloudy. After the Great Inheritance argument of 2000/01 David and Ruth have the main control, but the other siblings have some type of shareholding (C shares??) that entitles them to a cut should the business ever be sold. Don't think Phil and Jill have a stake anymore, but the business possibly pays them a pension (I got totally lost when this was all being settled)
You've got it right, Mabel. There's some information about Borchester Land (which owns the Berrow Estate, including Bridge Farm) in our Who's Who section:
