  Thanks for that Fee,
  
  yep, it take take me hours to read but i was quite absorbed by it all.
  
  Isn't it funny, really (not ha ha) how alcoholism/alcohol/drug misuse still feels like such a dirty little secret to in many way, for both those who are misusing and those who are suffering the fallout..
  
  ...and yet, reading through NICe, there are services out there, and people who are non-judgementally prepared to ensure service users can access 'help'? And yet we feel so alone when we are using and trouble by it.
  
  That thought kept coursing through my mind as I read the NICE study. Of course, it's easy to feel this when you have settled into AA or Alanon too...
