Yes I know that it's only the end of August 2011 but I am thinking
ahead this week, forgotten why though LOL@Rosalind
So I'll open next year's Cat Club rota:

Rusty that's fine so I'll update the rota and no 2012 doesn't seem
that far away to me what with stuff happening next month and v-e-t's
appointment in October etc.

Rusty I know what you mean but it'll keep me busy updating next
year's Cat Club Rota 2012.
Only who will do it on behalf when I'm doing jury service from
next Tuesday until Friday fortnight (9 September) ?
Or I'll just update it when i can then.

Don't worry - we are so far ahead of ourselves that we don't need to keep recopying the schedule each time a volunteer comes forward. If there is a deluge (?!)of volunteers while you are on jury service, no doubt one of us will step into update the schedule.

I don't blame you for feeling a bit anxious about the jury service, and it's the disruption to one's life too, of course. It is good to do one's duty of course, and then one can go back to normal life as usual. Bet *that* cant' come soon enough, at least.

Rusty, I've done jury service 3 times previously and last time was
25 years ago. So I've forgotten the procedures.
Yes it's a disruption to my life and I've just realised that a v-e-t
appointment just messes up a single day. Which I don't have
think about until the autumn.
I'll be around over the weekend.

It's almost the end of another year, 2011, where's time going/gone.
So if you've time please volunteer to the 2012 Cat Club Rota,

I'll open June's Cat Club but on the 3rd June because I opened
January's on the 1st and the rest we know Cellulitis from 2nd January.
It's freaked me ever since. -

I really don't think we need a new rota thread yet - we're only four months into this year! Another thread would just confuse!
And we have a volunteer already for August in La Reine Astrid.
No need to get stressed about this. As I've said before asking people to commit too early just means we end up having to swap with each other as committments and availability change.
There has never been a problem getting plenty of people to open up even when we used to have a thread a week. There are so many of us that with only 12 threads per year nobody should have to open up very often and there is no need for any disproportionate load to fall on any one posters shoulders.
It always sorts itself out without worrying.

say end of July for August.
BTW I've used my previous post and tweaked it a bit with the
future volunteers. Sure I do understand about RL concerns
coming up first and foremost before CC, Good that it's. -
