Lonicera, do try to keep up.
The CB fan club's been buzzing about this for weeks
Preview doesn't work!
Is this going to be on the same theme as Charlie Dimmocks previous programme?

Hi Lonicera
my link works and the programme looks as if it's going to be fun about some serious wildlife issues. Having a lifelong interest in gardening, nature and wildlife - this is right up my street!
Ah goody, that looks excellent, something to look forward to.
Tried it again, through I.E. and not through my Aol software, works OK now!! Looks like another garden makeover show to me, but with wildlife included this time, which can only be a good thing. Maybe Charlie's Wildlife Garden on a more grander scale! Time will tell if it turns out OK.
Well I thought that Madonplants, but fortunately I can't imagine Chris Beardshaw going too far down the make-over route, so fingers crossed it is a bit meatier.
Actually Aspidistra he did do the Flying Gardener series and the "Weekend Gardener" series as well. Both pretty much makeover shows.
This series looks good though. Seems there undoing all the wrongs that Alan Titchmarsh created on Ground Force.
About time!
Typical, it would be a Wednesday night, when i'm at band practise I-player it is then!
Hi Jenks, ah yes, I'd forgotten about all that silly business. Actually I used to like The Flying Gardener, although I thought all the helicopter stuff was a daft imitation of the days of Anneka Rice and Treasure Hunt. I don't remember it being a makeover show, in fact I have no recollection whatsoever of what it was about but I remember he visited nice gardens and said interesting things.
Fortunately the commissioners these days of Programmes from Helicopters (apart from the emergency service ones) should be doomed as sufficiently eco-unfriendly not to have shove gardeners in helicopters, and hopefully Chris B has grown out of those clingy climbing suit thingys.
It would be great if they started unravelling the some of the makeovers and also starting to get the thing of sharing gardens with wildlife more within people's understanding.
I'm looking forward to it, but what I would like to see is how to keep your garden wildlife friendly without ending up with a rat problem.
This is my problem!

Rats are wildlife, Nooj!!Â
So are:
Vine weevils
Slugs & snails
Lily beetles
Leaf miners
Sawflies
and lots of other narsty greeblies!
Now I don't believe we'd want to be encouraging those either.
It looks great and I'm really pleased this has made it onto prime time Ö÷²¥´óÐã1 (not 2!) as its such an important issue for us current gardeners and people who own gardens and just need that incentive to get out there and do something with their outdoor space.
I have to say though, that Ellie is far far to young, pretty and smiley for my liking, so I may have to hate the programme out of pure jealousy - all that youth and beauty AND she gets to work with the wonderful CB?! how unfair is that.
Looking forward to it.

Piggin, wouldn't rats eat some of those nasties, anyway?

Lucky Ellie getting to work with CB
Can't wait for the programme. We haven't had any CB on Ö÷²¥´óÐã for ages.

Hi All
Just looked at the trailer and have to say it looks great.
I was beginning to panic a bit as I thought it was due to start this week and when I saw it wasn't in the TV listings for this week thought I might have missed it. ( Or even worse dreamt it)
Roll on next this time next week.

Yes - all the publicity makes it look like it'll be a great programme (shame the publicity states it starts this week!). Bring it on CB
Looks very - 'up'! Bit Garden force but am sure it will come into its own. Enthusiasm & knowing what you're talking about will impress us!

Looks like I'm in a minority of one here, but if the trailer is anything to go by this is the kind of programme that sends me screaming up the wall (or out into the garden).
Still, musn't be hasty. I'm often wrong (as my wife will tell you).
