Christine - a "Star" and the "gardening face" of the low budget Ö÷²¥´óÐã "One Show". Presumably the face reference is because they want to distract from Adrian Childs ugliness.
So much glee was on my face when she was billed to appear on Vic & Bob's "Shooting Stars" this week.
For me this really was "must see" telly. Better than Tora Tora Tora and the Morcambe & Wise show AND I kept the kids up to watch it.
I am very disappointed.
The programme DIDN'T live up to its name as Christine wasn't shot!
She utterly ruined the kids Christmas!

Brian,
You can't shoot Christine! She's far too busy appearing as the pumpkin in a not to distant Blog panto It would be too big a loss...
I don't know if this is supposed to be tongue in cheek, which is not obvious, but find your offensive comments very regrettable.
A lot of people like and enjoy Christine's presentation and gardening skills, like me,and am prepared to be considerate and understanding of others-I hope.
Happy 2009!!.

Now we've just got over the handbags at dawn on the Alys thread, lets not have a manbags at noon punch up now please.
I am sure it is tounge in cheek.
Christine is a lovely lady and we are all very fond of her and would never dream of shooting her as family entertainment.
I think we've all had too many e numbers from all the christmas choccie.
Lets just all chill a little bit

I find this post deeply offensive.
Just because you've already done the handbag thing doesn't mean that others should be denied the chance now you've recovered.

Ok Ok, was just trying to save you all from the stress of yet another punch up.
I will stand back and let you wave your handbags about.
Enjoy.

Not surprisingly she didn't seem to be able to grasp that Dudley ended with a 'y' (the only thing she was asked). Christine...ever the enigma!

Well, this is not 'tongue in cheek' & although I had a new handbag for Christmas, its so awful I wouldn't dream of even using it for swatting people! I actually like the One Show & think Christine does a good job following on from Myleene. Plus of course, it goes out from Birmingham so can't be all bad!

You'll be telling me next that Christine Walkden was in a reality pop group
I like Christine
I like anyone who grows things and loves it
What I don't like is judging people on appearance.

David, I'm not altogether sure but I think that might have been one of those scripted bits that was supposed to be funny! Sadly they didn't let her run around the studio going choo choo wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee so consequently the only thing that was funny in the entire show was the dead blue-tit.

Don't start me off!
My best friend at school used to go out with Bob Mortimer's brother.
Hope that's sufficiently off topic to get the thread closed.
Who's Bob Mortimer?
Nice one dwarfbean
Is Bob Mortimer's brother a gardener? That's okay then.
SERIOUSLY, I feel sorry for the old guy next door to Christine. Everything he grows, she EATS it!
