Handbags

  Some advice please, folks. What size handbag is best? Material? Do we throw or clout with them? Do manbags count? Do man use them? After handbagging someone, should we plant them or frame them?

  After seeing Michael Palin and Monty Don with man bags, I decided that it was finally OK and not girly at all. Like them I bought a beige denim one from Debenhams and now wonder how I did without it. When I catch the train up to London - Senior rate, Moneysaver after 10am - I take in it a camera, book, sweets, map of London, pens, mobile phone, all sorts of things I once had to stuff in my pockets. Brilliant!

  How odd. I have gone the other way ie to smaller bag. Had recent 7month spell of not being allowed to drive (medical reasons) & swapped to a smaller bag with minimal items in so less weight whilst walking everywhere. Even now still swap to it when don't need the car. Jo.
