HI all,
I registered here at weekend and now i cant find what i posted....any ideas?? The basis was hello and i am going to try and grow a bit of salad this year.... i put pics on and it is now missing, how do i log on on to my page now - which link is it?? help!! -

i see, that just brought me to the forums....do you know where you initially sign up and put a message and pics if you want to? never mind - i would like to know if i can grow some kind of lettuce and tomatoes quite easily this year,just as a starter, hopefully so i can just pick at them and they will regrow? I have a major problem with slugs and snails and ants eating anything i plant! also i have dogs so anyideas for this have to be pet friendly.Or can i grow toms in the kitchen? absolutley useless gardener but very willing tolearn, we've all got to start somewhere havent we?

Hi Tess and welcome. I've checked your discussions and you don't appear to have posted on these boards before. I wonder if you have confused this message board with another beeb board?
Anyway as Paul says,
(for good behaviour Paul)the best plan is to post the query you have on salad in the 'garden clinic' section.

Hi Tess this is how we use the boards here. There are four different boards.
Gardening on TV - for comments on Gardening TV programmes and the presenters.
Garden Design - all sorts of things from designing a new garden to photo gallery of posters gardens. There is also a 'potting shed' where we can chat about anything. (as long as it is garden related)
Allotment Board - for people who grow veggies and fruit and flowers in their allotments.
Garden Clinic - for any problems that you may have.
Your posts are moderated to start with, it takes about 20 until you see them right away.
You can post weblinks but not your phone numbers or email addresses.
We are a good crowd, so enjoy being on here. You will get plenty advice from fabulous gardeners. -

Hi Tess, welcome. Hi Aspi. I've posted on other beeb boards in the past and found them listed under 'Your Discussions' with my Gardening board stuff so Tess's posts ought probably to show up if she mistakenly put them on another board. Bit of a puzzle????

Yes i did find my way back, its just that when i first registered i had to send a message and then i also posted some pics.....maybe they are on a different board but i still signed in with the same details, so i gather it must be on here somewhere...but never mind that, i have already written somewhere else what i would like to start growing this year.Happy gardenng folks!

When you're in premod everyone else will see your posts at the same time as you, so there'll be no replies until you actually see the post appear. You will feel as if you're talking to yourself, but persevere. -

Hi & welcome
I was reading your post and clicked on your name, I see you appear to have posted 1 disscussion and replied to 1 other.
I am also wondering, if when you registered on the beeb boards, you actually posted your pics ect under the gardening calender section, which isn't actually the forums.
Next time you are signed in, go to the gardening homepage, look for the garden calender and try clicking on that and see if that is where they are.
If you post pics on the forum you would have needed to use a posting website like photobucket, flicker ect and I'm sure you would remember that.
The other possability is the moderators did not like your post for some reason and blocked it, but then again, they normally send you an email explaining why they have blocked you.
Try looking at the gardening calender or your emails, but don't worry about it, the boards are easy to use after a little practice and I hope you find your pic's.
