I watched a trailer last night for a new programme that's gardening related I think:
It was called 'Grow your own drugs'. Ooo! provocative, but it's actually about growing your own medicinal garden.
I can't remember the name of who it's going to presented by but going by the trailer he could set hearts a fluttering - perhaps?
Anyway, regardless of the eye candy factor, I'll be very interested to see if it's any good. At least it's a change from all those done to death makeover programmes.
Has any else seen the trailer or knows more about it?
Which channel is it on?
I can't remember if it's one Ö÷²¥´óÐã2 or Ö÷²¥´óÐã3. It was trailered on Ö÷²¥´óÐã2 just before Masterchef.
It was advertised as being on Ö÷²¥´óÐã2, but not when.
I think it starts in March. James Wong, an ethno-biologist will be presenting it. I seem to remember seeing him on Gardeners' World last year.
He did a garden at the RHS Hampton Court show with a colleague and caused a great deal of excitement when it and he were featured on GW. This new show should be quite interesting.
Phew! thanks for the info everyone. Yes, I'm looking forward to it to. I'd like to see what kind of remedies he'll be concocting and also see how effective they are.
I'm not averse to orthodox medicine generally, but I do think modern society over relies on multi-vitamins, pills for this, that and everything that promise much but don't actually do any good other than make money for pharmaceuticals.

That sounds a really interesting idea for a programme. If anyone sees what the start date is, do flag it up, please
Just saw the trailer but no start date mentioned. Does look interesting. J.
