So GW has changed and the curmudgeons are squeaking. Why would anyone begrudge the opening up of the science of gardening to novices? There was a time when these complainants knew nothing and they probably gained their knowledge from family and friends. This series seeks to develop such communities (Grofun) and engage those outside of such peer help. Two shows in - not so much Grofun but Growup and think of others perhaps less fortunate or just earlier in their choices. There are 23 shows - judge it then.

    I think your right.

When i saw the new format for Gardeners World i thought what on earth as happened here, but every thing has to change to keep up with the times (i hope that gardeners world dosen't forget their unique down to earth approuch) and this, our favourite friday night show is no exception. I will how ever say the that i think the "whats hot, and whats not" board at the end of the show as absolutly no place on the show that is just a compleat waste of time, i'm sure and hope they will soon loose this part of the show, and fill the vacant broadcast space with something more educationally constructive.
