Why does everyone and his wife want a scrap about GW?
Grumpy harumphh.
Don't bother having a go, i'm off elsewhere for a while
Pricking out, since you ask
Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I'm with you nooj, there are some nasty beasties afoot this week.
I wish Beryl would come back and knit us a tea cosy for the potting shed.
To all of you feeling uninspired by GW or fed of of aforementioned bickering take a look at www.danielhinkley.com (can't work out the link bit)
Anyone who went to his recent lectures at Crug Farm, Taunton and the English Gardening School, please tell everyone how entertaining, knowledgable and enthusiastic he is.
I got his latest book at the lecture and haven't had such a good read since Christopher Lloyd's last book
Thanks Katherine
to Amazing and SGW
Thank you
It's nice to see that some people can still be friendly on this board. I'm tired of gettng abuse hurled at me for speaking out about something I feel passionately about.
Nooj - I've stopped joining in the discussion - not because I don't have an opinion, but because there seems to be a atmosphere of over-reaction that has kicked in. I'd either get labelled a whinger or a creep, no matter what I said. Perhaps some of the newer contributors - whether real or stooges - are finding it hard to read the culture of these boards.
These things always blow over eventually.
You're right of course, Trillium.
I was just getting frustrated and having a cross moment again!
Appreciate you expressing your sentiments about the current polarisation of views, but I don't think we need another thread on the subject, so am going to close this one. Best wishes G-host
