On a GW special in September last year we saw RdeT create a border in her own garden in the Cotswolds.

The programme - and the end result - were discussed in this thread:

RdeT now does a bit on gardens in Countrywise on ITV and in last weeks programme the border made an appearance.

I just wondered if anyone who saw the GW special saw Countrywise and what they thought of the border.

From the bit we saw I thought it looked better than expected.

Would have liked to have seen that.

So it wasn't swamped by grasses then?

    Hi Stormy Pink

There were still grasses but the border didn't look like the 'sea of grass' we saw at the end of the GW special. In fact, I think she must have modified it quite a lot.

On Countrywise, RdeT walked along the path at the back of the border - there didn't appear to be any shrubs, not even roses, although I seem to recall her planting some on the GW special.

She has plans to extend the border under a lime tree and this will be shown on a future Countrywise. Hopefully, we might see a bit more detail.

I don't know if you can watch the last programme on the internet. There wasn't really enough shown to make it worthwhile.
