    its tv and it's related to gardening.

    except for the relentless 'music' and the show being continually 'excited' which tv fabricated emotion can only happen if you really are on drugs it had some good points.

    not least giving people a reason to grow plants. this sort of knowledge used to be common but now is the realm of 'experts'.

    if it gets people thinking about plants and how to use them then i can put up with the relentless jolly always on a high nature of the show.

    I'm sure they must teach it at media skool or something but you can only make gardeing appeal to a younger audience if you play trendy music, use dizzing camera techniques, cut holes in Radio 1 DJ's lawns and plant carrots, have hip and happening presenters, drive ice cream vans etc. etc.

    *Sob* when will the Beeb realise that that isn't what we want at all.

    (James Wong is a bit of a sweetie though, isn't he, we can forgive the terrible talking to the person off camera techniques for him can't we? smiley - winkeye)
