I believe 'the horticultural channel . tv' starts on 06 March and it is always worth looking at 'the garden channel . tv' because it features useful hints from a well known NW garden whilst we are waiting.
I shall be interested to see the 'down to earth' GW and hope there will be guest appearances by the great and good of the gardening world from time to time.

Beechgrove is usually the first week of April. No doubt Welshcol will keep us all up to date.

Hi all
the first episode of Gardeners' World is due to air on 11th March at 8.30pm on Ö÷²¥´óÐã Two and the Beechgrove Garden is scheduled for 4th April at 7.30pm on Ö÷²¥´óÐã One Scotland.
Hope that helps

Idea for GW 2011.
Without compromising his garden's security, how about a "time-delay" webcam overlooking Monty's GW garden so we can see changes and watch filming going on the week before.

Thank you, Saima, for your response. I'll be looking forward to both programmes. Carol has already inspired me to greater things this year. I hope that GW and Beechgrove will continue in her footsteps and give lots to delight us gardeners.
Cheers, Pete

HTF, try www and a dot before but delete the quotes.
It will be interesting to have GW from Monty's own garden, having enjoyed Carol's garden series very much.

Try googling anything you're not sure about, happytobyfan, and you'll, most likely, get the answer you seek.
Below is the info google gave me.
I hope it helps.

Hi there here we are again and Best Wishes for 2011.
Now I do hope you you are not going to do your name change routine this year as I was totally confused last year which does not take much these days.
Hope wee Jim and BG has survived the Winter and like you will blossom in the Spring.

Yakram and ArtemisH
Thanks for that. I think I must be getting a bit thick in my old age. I thought they were new gardening channels on TV, I didn't realise they were on the internet.
