Does anyone know if there exists anywhere a layout plan of the old Berryfields Vegetable Plot, I was interested in sizing and what was planted where.
I am trying to work out the necessary sizes of raised beds etc for a new allotment and really liked the way berryfields was laid out.
Thanks.

Hi Simon
I've had a look in the Ö÷²¥´óÐã book Gardening from Berryfields.
There is a decent photo on page 124 if you can get hold of a copy.
In it, Monty states that the kitchen garden plot measured 15mx15m (50' x 50').
The raised beds were constructed from old scaffolding boards measuring 16' in length. The widths should be 1.5m (5feet max) and no les than 1.2m (4feet) as a workable minimum.
Monty also suggests a central path width of 1m (3feet) and all others about 60cm(2feet).
Hope this is of some help to you.

Hi Simon
I just stumbled across a map of Berryfields while I was looking for something else so I've uploaded it for you.
It's probably no where near as detailed as you need to replicate it but it's a start!
