Behind the screen; was I the only one who thought to notice already last season ?

  Already last season I thought to notice there was a change of attirude between the presenters.
  
  They did not come up as a team anymore, let alone the "what's hot and what not" sessions.
  
  Seemed to me that Toby did not even announce the next item by the -names- of Alys and Joe.
  
  With Halloween it looked as if Alys was standing -demonstratively- at the back as if she was telling "I do not belong here anymore" or something.
  
  Well and at the end of the last broadcast of the season, it was even more obvious to me. When Toby said goodbye, Alys took some steps aside and forward, they did not show off as a team, Joe was'nt even there.
  
  Though in the course of the season Joe and Toby seemed to talk again to each other, but not those funny chitchats, which I liked..
  
  Strange that I am the only one who noticed this amongst other things. I am in Holland and there we are not allowed to watch bbc I-player (though the whole world may watch Dutch streams from years back .
  
  I prefer Alys very much to Rachel, who looked annoyed when she had to plant bulbs, and (therefore ?) was pregnant next week again.
  
  I prefer Alys so much more because of her simplicity.
  
  Liked Toby's first broadcast's "ten minutes fix", Joe's allotment, kinda Hamilton. But in the course of the deliveries at all seemed to change.
  
  Was already then wondering "what's going on here ?". Maybe Ö÷²¥´óÐã cut on budgets because of the Holy Royal Wedding and therefore painful choices must be made ?
  
  We'll never know
  
  
  
  Well at the above link I read that Alys was also dropped, strange, while she's writing on her blog again.

  I think you have absolutely hit the nail on the head there! That Holy Royal Wedding has a lot to answer for.
