Thank you thank you bbc for bringing back monty... I have watched gardeners' world from Geoff Hamilton, Alan Titchmarsh etc and loved the format. Although Toby and crew tried thier best to bring the show to new viewers with new blood it was like watching Blue Peter. Alice was first introduced by Monty before he left and I was pleasantly suprised by that, as more and younger people and children are getting more invovled in gardening. However l found the format they used was to patronising for my taste. Welcome back Monty!!! Your a proper plantman who feels the earth

i agree- monty is a top man and i'm pleased to see him back on the screen. i think the important thing is that he ios a brilliant presenter like alan titchmarsh and i'd like to see gardeners world with more of a magazine thing to iot- i thought alyss stuff on eating your garden brought up a whole host of new ideas- why not have articles on cooking your garden, on visiting gardens etc? for this all youu need is the right presenter- monty is the man for the job.

I appreciate his relaxed commonsense approach I'm probably a bit old for Toby and Alys!
