It was a long time since this ended but it was worth the wait- and didn't they cram a lot into 30 minutes.
It was nice that they showed the visit in December and also what to do forced bulbs before and after flowering- which has been a frequent question on these boards-the veg in the poly tunnel, the new greenhouse, including advice on summer bedding, the visit to the botanical garden- that isn't a botanical garden-and showing that a lot of the work is not done by the presenters but by a team of gardeners as well.
If the rest of the series is like this-then happy bunny time
Was nice getting the update and the winter detail but it's too late now or will be long forgotten come next winter. A cheeky wee, well timed 'Christmas Special' from Beechgrove would be lovely.
Normal service resumed.
Happy bunny time indeed! I've been looking out for it for the last couple of weeks, and just watched it on iPlayer. Welcome back Beechgrove!

Finally got my 'fix' last evening.
Daughter enjoyed it too & can now understand why I make the effort to watch it on i-player. J.
I hate watching things via the computer ( and it costs money) if it's so good why isn't it on Freeview????
Lowena--
I know you hate watching things on the computer-I have a good memory-as for Freeview it is broadcast from Scotland-which means you are going to need a ever so slightly bigger ariel for the signal reach you in the West Country (?) or move to Scotland-or get a sky dish
Why does it cost money to view on i-player?
Perhaps at some point the powers that be will decide to broadcast it nationwide-now that would be an excellent move.
Live in hope.
codydog it 'costs' kilobites to watch iplayer. If you are on a broadband tariff that gives you 10mbs a month you can only watch 4/5 programmes on iplayer or they eat up your bites.
Exactly, that's the tariff I am on with BT
I am no expert but 30minutes of video is around175mb so 3 hours around 1gb-it just depends on what you wish to use your usage for I suppose or of course you could upgrade.

Does anyone know which number we can get Beechgrove on demand. last year we had sky and recorded each week. We have now changed to Virgin and altho we get Sky with them we cant fine Ö÷²¥´óÐã2 Scotland for Beechgrove. It shows it as eastenders. HELP
EH
You can see Beechgrove by using the Virgin Catch Up service. It will be available for a week after the original broadcast.
Haven't got Virgin and by the look of it they don't carry Ö÷²¥´óÐã2 Scotland in England-but according to this you can watch the 3rd programme next Sunday on Ö÷²¥´óÐã1 Scotland which Virgin does carry on ch862 -I am not sure if this is regular thing or a one -off
I'm with Virgin and can't get Ö÷²¥´óÐã 2 Scotland, so I was relieved to find that Beechgrove is still available to watch on 'Catch Up', usually from Thursday mornings onwards. I prefer watching it on catch up because sometimes I have trouble catching what Jim is saying, so I can just run it back and listen again.

Hello,
Watched Episode 2 on the Iplayer, really enjoyed it- they pack in a lot of gardening in half an hour.
Did watch a bit last year but didn't find it that relevant to me...........but a year later I do.
The website looks good too.
Will follow this series
I have a Sony PS3 so watch iPlayer on my TV. If you're paying a lot for Broadband you need to change your provider. Shouldn't cost a lot these days
