Romans in Britain

  As we all know that Romans have made there trek through the regions of Britain. Now I have a question to ask, hopefully you can answer. I'm visiting family in Leeds, and I was hoping to visit some sites.
  
  Some research showed that the Romans did indeed visit present day Leeds. And today there are some historical sites where the Romans made their camps. Do any of you know such a place? Or any historical sites I should visit?

  There was a villa on the A1 near Dalton Parlours and both a Legionary Fortress and temporary camp, plus an undefended settlement and barrow at Newton Kyme. There was a tile/pottery at Horsforth in Leeds. Aldborough was a Civitas Capital (Isurium Brigantum) and had a small fort.
  
  I don't know what's left of any of these, but it might be worth following them up.

  There isn't anything left in Leeds - I think it was all knocked down for mills

  Also around the corner from me in Roundhay a church has a fragment of a Roman bridge from Newcastle embedded in it's altar, but it's not much to look at to be honest.
