    A Ö÷²¥´óÐã report today see: "Death renews iceman 'curse' claim" about Tom Loy's death makes this connection;

    "Tom Loy, 63, had analysed DNA found on "Oetzi", the Stone Age hunter whose remains were discovered in 1991."

    and I wonder if the "curse" thing was started by Howard Carter (1873-1939) and his discovery of Tutankhamen?

    ... to add my correction; I meant to write: I wonder if the "curse" thing was started *with* Howard Carter's discovery of Tutankhamen?

    Howard Carter's discovery in 1922 of the XVIII dynasty pharaoh Tutankhamen, which was the first and only intact royal burial to be discovered in the Valley of the Kings.
