The plans for the Shoebury tower block A new landmark for Shoebury?Shoebury could soon see a new landmark being built in the area. However some of the local residents are not that happy about it. Shoebury is a quiet village that sits right on the mouth of the Thames Estuary, and the beginning of the Thames Gateway. To mark this there are plans to build an eighteen storey tower block on the site of the old garrison that will be visible for miles around. However, some people in Shoebury don't like the idea, and Andy Gordon has been there to find out more. Click on the link below to watch the video.
