About This Event

On what would have been Leonard Bernstein鈥檚 100th birthday, and launching a bank-holiday Bernstein weekend at the Proms, John Wilson returns to conduct his second Bernstein musical of the season. Following the adventures of three sailors on shore leave in New York City in 1944, On the Town was an instant Broadway hit, featuring classic songs including 鈥楴ew York, New York鈥� and 鈥楲onely Town鈥�.
