The 主播大秀 Symphony Orchestra, familiar to music-lovers worldwide as the resident orchestra of the 主播大秀 Proms, will make a rare visit to Bath to close this wonderfully 鈥榥ormal鈥� festival, following two far from normal years. Conducted by Kevin John Edusei, the German-Ghanaian Chief Conductor of the Munich Symphony Orchestra and fresh from a stint at the Royal Opera House, this delightfully popular concert will feature first the peerless pianist Sir Stephen Hough performing Brahms鈥� epically masterful Piano Concerto No 2. Then Dvo艡谩k鈥檚 New World Symphony, a universal favourite guaranteed to be as rapturously received today as it was when first performed in New York in 1893.
