Billed in the US as the most 'unpolitically-correct movie ever', the Farrelly Brothers ("There's Something About Mary", "Dumb and Dumber") once again put their gross-out humour to the test to see how far they can push the boundaries of taste.

Enter another Jim Carrey movie - you know what to expect, lots of facial expressions, gesticulating and downright stupidness.

Carrey plays mild-mannered, nice guy cop Charlie who is sometimes Hank due to having two personalities. After marrying his childhood sweetheart and her running off with the wedding car driver, Charlie is left to cope bringing up triplets that aren't even his own. 15 years on and sick of being the joke of the town, Charlie finally loses it bursting out as Hank, Charlie's alter ego. Hank swears like a trooper, drinks like a fish and insults everyone he meets - including love-interest Irene (Ren茅e Zellweger).

This movie is not for the faint-hearted. The gags are crude, rude and offensive. With so many films like these under their belt it's no wonder that the Farrelly Brothers are running out of ideas. The jokes are so predictable and obvious, it's embarrassing that they had to stoop so low for a few laughs. Every minority is mocked and the bad taste factor wears thin after five minutes.

With absolutely no plot and only Jim Carrey's comedic talents saving the day it's a poor follow-up to "There's Something About Mary". But already a huge crowd-puller in the States, it's certain that the Farrelly Brothers are having the last laugh.
