Jason Biggs

"American Pie 2"

Interviewed by Jane Crowther

Has playing Jim affected your relations with the opposite sex?

I have girls lining up! It's the only reason I started acting - to get the girls. Something about being projected on a 70 foot screen makes you more attractive and appealing to the opposite sex, which is pretty scary. No seriously, I have a significant other so I haven't taken advantage of the 12-year-olds. It's a younger fan base that I have so I want to keep it legal!

The first film has the infamous pie scene and this has an equally embarrassing glue moment - were you nervous about doing another?

I was nervous and hesitant about putting myself out there for the pie scene. But I went for it and the results were wonderful. Coming into the second, I was excited to see the glue scene in there and I had no qualms about it. As far as the pie thing following me around, I'm really proud of that scene and I'm happy to be known as 'the pie guy'. So if I get known as 'the glue guy' as well, that's cool.

You kiss Stifler in "American Pie 2" - how was that?

He's a great kisser! The actual kissing was weird. He鈥檚 got a little stubble and it kind of threw me. The first time we did it, we cut and the entire crew was in stitches so we knew this scene was going to be great, it was going to be hilarious.
