George and Fran Alagiah
主播大秀 newsreader and journalist, George Alagiah was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka. His family moved to Ghana and George and his 4 sisters were sent to boarding school in the UK. Their mother was an incredible Sri Lankan cook and the extended Alagiah family treasure the recipes passed down by her. When George married Fran in 1984, his mother taught Fran some of the family recipes including the secret roasted curry powder, the key to their delicious meat curries.
