WHERE TO FIND THE QUARRIES:

Earnslaw

Drive into the centre of Malvern and follow signs for Ledbury (A449).听 Pass the Mount Pleasant Hotel on your right and take the next right, up towards the Wyche Cutting.听 The car park for Earnslaw is on the right as you go up the hill, and is well signposted.听 To walk to the lake, take the path to the right of the noticeboard.听 It's quite a flat walk, and there are numerous seats.听 To walk to The Gold Mine and the Worcestershire Beacon ( a stiff climb) take the path that leads away from the upper car park.

Wyche

The Wyche Quarry is further up the same road, on the right.听 The car park is small, and it is a sharp trun on a difficult road, so you may be better off walking from the Earnslaw car park.

Gardiners

At the top of the Wyche cutting take the first left, along Jubilee Drive, going towards British camp.听 The car park is on the left, just opposite the sign for The Kettle Sings cafe.

West of England

Go back to the Wyche Cutting and turn left along the road that leads to West Malvern.听 The car park for the West of England quarry is on the right, well signposted, just after a row of houses.

North Hill and Tank

Drive through West Malvern, and look for the Clock Tower on the right.听 The entrance to the Tank Quarry car park is on the right of this, and the one to North Hill quarry is of the left.

Gullet

Take the main road to Ledbury (A449) and turn left at Little Malvern, signposted to Welland.听 At the Welland crossroads, with the church in front of you, turn right, and drive across the common.听 Look for a turning on the right, a small single track road, going across Castlemorton Common.
