The playlist is a list of new tracks, which together with the core music (thousands of songs spanning across several genres and decades) forms the majority of 主播大秀 Hereford & Worcester's daytime output.

These tunes are carefully selected then tested by calling up a number of listeners and playing them samples of the music to form an overall opinion.

These songs are then rotated throughout the day to provide a steady mix and to ensure that they won't appear twice in the same show!

KT Tunstall - Hold On

Shades of Black Horse & The Cherry Tree, her first single back in 2005, Hold On is described as "A rootsy blues stomp of a track", and looks set to provide another hit for the Scottish star.

After the five-times platinum achievement of 'Eye To The Telescope', her second album 'Drastic Fantastic' is due out on 10th September, which in turn will be followed by a series of live appearances across the UK.

Mika - Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)

Already a live favourite at his concerts, Big Girl is described as an anthemic and celebratory war cry to celebrate size diversity, as well as a cutting critique of the Size Zero culture!

It's the next single to be taken from Mika's debut album 'Life In Cartoon Motion', which has already notched up over half a million sales in the UK.

Natasha Bedingfield - Soulmate

With her trademark quirky lyrics and a great voice, Natasha Bedingfield has achieved success in both the UK and the US with her winning pop formula, and her second album听'NB' from which this is the second single, looks set to propel her into a new league.

In contrast to her last single 'I Wanna Have Your Babies', Soulmate is a powerful and emotional ballad.

Enrique Iglesias - Do You Know

A bit of a first - the rare appearance of a ping pong ball as a percussive instrument!

That's the sound that opens this - the first single taken from Enrique's 8th studio album.

it's been some three years since his last, during which (apparently) much time was spent working towards 'Insomniac' - not a health problem, but the title of his new album.

It'll no doubt add to the 40 million album sales already clocked around the globe for the Madrid born, Miami-raised singer.

Mutya Buena - Real Girl

Mutya Buena is the founding member of the multi-million selling group Sugababes, who decided to leave the band in 2005 and go solo.

Last year she re-emerged in a duet with George Michael and now Real Girl is her debut solo single.

The song, which features a sample from Lenny Kravitz's global chart-topper 'It Ain鈥檛 Over 'Til It's Over', is taken from Mutya's debut album also entitled 'Real Girl', which will be released on June 4.

Maroon 5 - Makes Me Wonder

After a hiatus from the music scene, the Los Angeles five-piece, Maroon 5, are back with the first track from their second album 'It Won't Be Soon Before Long'.

They describe the songs as "sexier and stronger" with inspiration taken from 80s artists like Prince, Michael Jackson and Talking Heads!

The band hopes to repeat the success they had with their debut album 'Songs About Jane' which pulled in numerous awards for songs like 'This Love', 'She Will Be Loved' and 'Sunday Morning'.
