Our History Department sought to acknowledge the anniversary of the end of WW2 with a reminiscence project, which may be seen on our website, www.woodgreen.oxon.sch.uk. We also held data from a previous project in 1989, when we published wartime evacuees' recollections.
Our WW2 contributions are from three sources:
- students, who were invited to interview a family member or friend about their wartime recollections
- people who were evacuated to Witney as children from Ashford in Kent or London
- Witney University of the 3rd Age, Project 16,the 'Book of Memories'
