The Barber of Seville

Liverpool's 主播大秀 Big Screen is offering opera lovers the chance to watch the Royal Opera Houses performance of The Barber of Seville live on Wednesday, 15 July, 2009.

The free outdoor screening in Liverpool's Clayton Square begins at 7.30pm, and will last for approximately three hours.

The Barber of Seville, by Gioachino Rossini, is one of the most recognisable operas, the Royal Opera's performance features Joyce DiDonato as Rosini, Changhan Lim as Figaro and Juan Diego Florez as Count Almaviva.

Informal seating will be provided on a first come first served basis with space also provided for those who wish to bring their own seating.

There is a 25 minute interval between the two acts, the first of which is 100 minutes long and the second 60 minutes.

As the performance is outdoors remember to dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
