The project has defined two types of membership – Partner and Supplier
- Partner: Receives free content generated through the News Hub, Shared Data Unit and Local Democracy Reporting Service
- Supplier: Receives free content generated through the News Hub, Shared Data Unit and Local Democracy Reporting Service and employs one or more of the Local Democracy Reporters
Partner applications: Partner applications can be made at any time. Applicants should complete the Partner Application downloads below - LNP Partner Application Questionnaire and, if applying on behalf an unregulated organisation, LNP Part 4: Selection Questions. Completed applications or requests for support should be emailed to news.partnerships@bbc.co.uk
Supplier applications: Current Supplier contracts will end on June 30, 2025.
As a result, the application window is currently closed and there are no opportunities to become a Supplier news organisation.
The application window for the next contract period, starting on July 1, 2025, is expected to open in December, 2024. Further details will be posted on this site when available.
