Over seventy documentaries from Louis Theroux and Stacey Dooley’s back catalogues will be available to watch on 主播大秀 iPlayer from Thursday 6 September.

The documentaries include some of the most iconic films from Theroux and Dooley’s archives, showcasing their unique approaches to film making, which has firmly secured them as two of the most popular documentary makers in the country.

The documentaries tackle a broad range of issues, from drug addiction in Louis Theroux film, The City Addicted to Crystal Meth, to abortion in Brainwashing Stacey: Anti-Abortion Camp and the American criminal justice system in Louis Theroux: Miami Mega Jail, giving audiences a front seat view to some of the most interesting stories in the world today.

Highlights from Stacey’s box sets include her critically acclaimed documentaries following the women fighting ISIS in Iraq. In Stacey on the Frontline: Girls, Guns and ISIS, Dooley, follows an all–female battalion who are determined to rescue Yazidi women under ISIS control. Viewers can also watch the follow up documentary, Stacey Dooley: Face to Face with Isis, where Dooley returns to Iraq to seek justice for the young women whose lives have been changed forever by Isis.

Stacey, who is best known for her documentaries on 主播大秀 Three and was recently awarded an MBE for her outstanding contribution to broadcasting, is competing in the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing. Two new documentaries, Stacey Dooley Investigates: Shot By My Neighbour and Stacey Dooley: Face to Face with Armageddon, are due out on 主播大秀 Three this September.

Highlights from Louis’s box sets include a film that focuses on a family at the core of the Westboro Baptist Church. Louis Theroux: America’s Most Hated Family in Crisis follows the infamous Phelps family from Topeka, Kansas who picket the funerals of dead soldiers killed in Iraq as a protest against an America that tolerates homosexuality. Viewers can also enjoy watching one of Louis’s latest documentary series Louis Theroux: Dark States, where he visits three American cities and examines a uniquely devastating human crisis in each - heroin addiction, sex trafficking and murder.

Louis, is one the 主播大秀’s most beloved filmmakers makers becoming a household name in the 1990s with his classic documentary series Weird Weekends. He recently curated a selection of the films that have moved, entertained and influenced him alongside a new film, Louis Theroux: Docs That Made Me, exclusively for 主播大秀 iPlayer.
