Daily lessons for pupils in Wales start today on 主播大秀 Bitesize Daily Lessons

On the day that the school term was due to restart, 主播大秀 Cymru Wales’ educational offering has today shifted up a gear as it publishes daily lessons for schoolchildren in Wales from age 3-14.
From today, lessons for pupils in Wales will be published through the new Bitesize Daily Lessons service on The first set of lessons will focus on the three core subjects - English, Welsh and Mathematics for primary and secondary learners - as well as some occasional additional lessons on various subjects.
The pool of educational content available will grow as more and more lessons are added daily, and content specific to Wales will also be available on 主播大秀 iPlayer.
Lessons will be delivered through a mixture of video, animations, activities and games, to help children continue their learning whilst they’re not able to go to school.
In addition to the content which is specifically designed for Wales, learners in Wales will also be able to benefit from a wealth of Bitesize Daily content which is designed to meet the curricular needs of learners from foundation phase to year ten in every part of the UK. These lessons will include short clips from teachers explaining key educational concepts, animations, content from educational partners as well as interactive activities to challenge learners.
Nia M Davies, Head of Education productions in 主播大秀 Wales, says: “Our new education service will support pupils and parents in the continuation of their learning over the next 14 weeks. During the first week, we will be focusing our efforts on providing support for Mathematics, English and Welsh as core subjects. As the service grows substantially from one week to another, we will be introducing new lessons across the curriculum through the medium of English and Welsh.
“Some of our lessons will offer support to non Welsh speaking parents and their children to help with the continuation of their Welsh medium education and to ease the transition back into school life. We work closely with teachers and educational consultants on all of our educational productions meaning that parents across Wales can be assured that 主播大秀 Bitesize will support and advance their children’s structured learning paths through entertaining and playful content. O heddiw, bydd gwersi i ddisgyblion yng Nghymru yn cael eu cyhoeddi ar wasanaeth newydd Gwersi Dyddiol Bitesize ar bbc.co.uk/bitesize Bydd y set gyntaf o wersi yn canolbwyntio ar y tri phwnc craidd - Saesneg, Cymraeg a Mathemateg ar gyfer dysgwyr Cynradd ac Uwchradd - yn ogystal â rhai gwersi ychwanegol o bryd i’w gilydd ar bynciau amrywiol.
Bydd y gronfa o gynnwys addysgol sydd ar gael yn tyfu wrth i fwy a mwy o wersi gael eu hychwanegu’n ddyddiol, a bydd cynnwys sy’n benodol i Gymru hefyd ar gael ar 主播大秀 iPlayer.
Bydd gwersi yn cael eu cyflwyno drwy gymysgedd o fideo, darnau animeiddio, gweithgareddau a gemau, i helpu plant i barhau â'u haddysg pan nad ydyn nhw'n gallu mynd i'r ysgol.
Yn ogystal â’r cynnwys sydd wedi'i gynllunio'n benodol ar gyfer Cymru, bydd dysgwyr yng Nghymru hefyd yn gallu elwa o gyfoeth o gynnwys Bitesize Dyddiol, a gynlluniwyd i ddiwallu anghenion cwricwlaidd dysgwyr o'r cyfnod sylfaen i flwyddyn deg ym mhob rhan o’r DU. Bydd y gwersi hyn yn cynnwys clipiau byrion gan athrawon yn egluro cysyniadau addysgol allweddol, darnau animeiddio, cynnwys gan bartneriaid addysgol yn ogystal â gweithgareddau rhyngweithiol i herio dysgwyr.
Dywedodd Nia M Davies, Pennaeth Cynyrchiadau Addysg 主播大秀 Cymru: “Bydd ein gwasanaeth Addysg newydd yn cefnogi disgyblion a rhieni i barhau â’u dysgu yn ystod y 14 wythnos nesaf. Yn ystod yr wythnos gyntaf, byddwn yn canolbwyntio ein hymdrechion ar roi cymorth mewn Mathemateg, Saesneg a Chymraeg fel pynciau craidd. Wrth i'r gwasanaeth dyfu'n sylweddol o un wythnos i'r llall, byddwn yn cyflwyno gwersi newydd ar draws y cwricwlwm drwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg a’r Saesneg.
“Bydd rhai o'n gwersi yn cynnig cymorth i rieni nad ydynt yn siarad Cymraeg a'u plant i helpu gyda pharhad eu addysg trwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg ac i hwyluso'r broses o drawsnewid yn ôl i fywyd ysgol. Ry’n ni’n gweithio'n agos gydag athrawon ac ymgynghorwyr addysg ar ein holl gynyrchiadau Addysg, sy’n golygu y gall rhieni ledled Cymru gael sicrwydd y bydd 主播大秀 Bitesize yn cefnogi ac yn hyrwyddo llwybrau dysgu strwythuredig eu plant drwy gynnwys difyr a chwareus. Ry’n ni’n falch iawn o allu cefnogi plant a rhieni yng Nghymru yn ystod y cyfnod hwn.”
