The Fasayes are a fun-loving Nigerian family from Kent. They are all over 6ft tall and refer to themselves as friendly giants. They are a very close-knit family and say their happiest times are when they are all together. They have a motto: food is life, we eat to enjoy!

Victory is a film production student and an aspiring weather presenter; Gabriel is a student studying travel and tourism at college. He has ambitions to become either a basketball player or a pilot.

Mum Dayo works as a special needs teaching assistant. She got into the teaching profession because she wanted to pass on what she had learnt from bringing up her own 16 year-old daughter, who has learning disabilities.

The Fasayes are a high-energy family who love to party - they often invite their extended family and friends over to their home and their parties are notorious. They’ll cook loads of food, play music and there is loads of laughter.

The family love a sing-along whilst they’re cooking and Motown is Dayo’s favourite.

Tommy Banks

Born and raised in Oldstead, North Yorkshire, into a family of farmers, chef Tommy Banks’s passion for food and nature flourished from a young age.

Tommy’s family bought The Black Swan just as he finished school and he started working there with no real intention of becoming a chef, but by 2013, at the age of 24, Tommy was awarded a Michelin Star - making him the youngest Michelin-starred chef in Britain at the time.
